BERK12 Executive Team
Is composed of approximately six BERK12 Board members. These individuals include the chair and vice-chair, and four at-large members (selected by the full membership). Additionally, the project manager participates, but doesn't hold a vote. The purpose of the Executive Committee is:
- To meet regularly to support agenda setting
 - Manage funding (spending and fund development)
 - Monitor project progress
 - Serve as liaison with governmental and legislative representatives
 - Act with decision-making authority about contracts and hiring as authorized by the full board
 - Develop near and long-term BERK12 strategy, with the chair serving as primary point-of-contact for media
 - The executive committee meets between full BERK12 board meetings and as needed.
